This only proves that the Brazilian telecommunication industry has really grown and the introduction of IPTV and the great reaction and support of the people for this innovation has contributed a lot to the success of the industry.
IPTV
According to Pyramid Research Senior analyst, Vinicius Caetano, Brazil is currently experiencing an important enrichment in its middle and lower classes citizens, which is why there is the need to customize more services to meet the growing demand.
Pyramid Research deems that through out 2011, mobile and Pay-TV offerings that have achieved success in Brazil were the ones with built in segmentation logic in their strategies. This addresses the needs of the part of the population that were not able to afford such privileges before.
Vinicius Caetano further stated that, there is a reality that Brazil is changing and Brazilian operators have to divide their tactics and become accustomed to the new attributes of what people are demanding. He also said that, users’ are getting sophisticated in their needs so there is simply no room for traditional strategies.
Though Brazilian IPTV has met a lot of challenges and obstacles along the way, it has survived them all and will continue to be a big success, at least up to the next 5 years.

TV Online September 10, 2011
Well, if you are like me then you were disappointed that there wasn’t a new Modern Family on last night. We ended up logging into Hulu instead and caught the previous episode again. Modern Family, Cheers, Wings, Frasier, all great tv writing and now each of them are beloved classics in their own right. Tomorrow is Thursday, which is always a big night for television on NBC.
Desperate Housewives
So… Desperate Housewives ended for me last year. The first two episodes of the new season of Desperate Housewives has left me annoyed. I simply don’t like what they are making the characters do now and the charm and humor of seasons past is completely removed. Certainly, the tv program has always had its dark edges, but that dark humor has been completely overcome with drama. I think most people watch Desperate Housewives for the clever banter and hilarious moments in between that intense drama and the writers have so far removed those two elements from the program entirely. I will give it a chance, I simply can’t just ignore a tv show that I will be reviewing, but unless the writers come up with some whizz bang laughs again, I’ll probably have some more negative comments for them. I am hoping that they turn me around and make me a fan again, but we will have to see about that one.
The Office on NBC
The Office, well I was worried that they were going to sink the show completely, but as it is now, they are hanging on by some hilarious and memorable scenes. Removing Steve Carrell from the cast didn’t necessarily send all of the fans of the show out of the air-lock. Most are sticking around and giving this re-configured cast a fair chance. The Garden Party brought The Office back into my favor, so if they can crack me up as much as they did with that episode, then they should have a good future sans Steve Carrell. If you ended up missing any episodes of The Office or Desperate Housewives or just want to catch up on other great tv online, then try out the Hulu free week trial and see if it is your style. I personally like it because I stopped paying into the cable syndicate and Hulu is only $7.99 a month, which is much less than the near $100 I was paying for cable. Anyway, here’s a link that will get you there.
